AnneMarie
Instructor
AnneMarie took her first barre class when her roommate at the time (and now fellow barre instructor!) invited her to a free Galentine's Day class in 2020. She fell in love with it as she attended classes more consistently while recovering from ACL surgery as a way to continue the rehabilitation of her knee. She discovered that barre was not only a way to move her body and strengthen her muscles and ligaments, but she also learned that exercise can truly be enjoyed.
After years of competitive tennis, including a college tennis career, the classes and instructors at Olde Towne Barre helped her realize that working out can be fun, and it is a celebration of what the body is capable of doing! She loves the OTB community and walks out of every class better than when she walked in.
When AnneMarie is not woo-ing in Erin’s class or smiling through a whole cardio sequence, she is teaching 7th grade math in Madison, playing tennis, or taking a road trip to see friends. She loves Olde Towne Barre and is so excited to be part of the OTB community as an instructor. She hopes to share her love of movement and exercise with everyone who walks through the OTB doors!
